AboutTheGame||help||About The Game|In this game you can <b>create a universe</b> and control its development. The final goal is designated by yourself. Don't forget to check out the list of game achievements and try to reach some of the ones that seem interesting. Read hints, explore possibilities and don't be afraid to experiment. In the worst case you can always start from scratch.<br><br>Numbers greater than 1 000 are displayed using <b>scientific notation</b>. 1e4 this is a 10 000, meaning “one with 4 zeroes”. 1e6 a million, 1e9 a billion and so on. 13.77e9 this is 13 billions 770 millions.<br><br>The game plays in <b>real time</b> with changeable scaling. At the start of the game the vast majority of this energy is not in your direct control. But during the game you will take more and more energy from the cache. The less filled the cache is, the harder it is to obtain new energy. The energy shortage wont become an urgent problem in the first billion years or so: the cache is really very large.<br><br>The matter is harvested from the energy cache in the form of <b>hydrogen</b> by clouds. Hydrogen may be spent to create new clouds and also to create stars. During their burning stars create <b>space</b> that can be used to place additional stars and clouds. StarsAndStructures||help||Stars and Structures|The heavier the star is, the faster it burns and the more space it produces. However, on the contrary, the most cost-efficient way of spending hydrogen to obtain new space, is investment into the smallest stars. Unfortunately they burn for a very long time and produce space very slowly. Also each star takes a unit of space, no matter which type the star is.<br><br>There is a reason to arrange stars and nebulae of the growing universe into galaxies and even larger <b>structures</b>. The production of space by stars is increased inside structures.<br><br>The proportion between universe matter and space is called density. In specific circumstances life can evolve to sapience, and sapience can advance to high technology. The lower the proportion of remaining cache, indicated in the middle of the bar, the lower is the efficiency of the resource generators, such as clouds for hydrogen and stars for space.<br>The energy cache really is immense, however it is not infinite.<br><br>Average <b>density</b> of the universe is the ratio of total matter mass, meaning all stars, clouds and so on, to the empty space. Nebulae allow you to obtain more hydrogen. Stars are used to make more space and also to harbor planets. HeliumAndMetals||help||Helium and Metals|Helium and metals are obtained when stars finish their life cycle.<br><b>Helium</b> is not especially useful, but it is inevitable. It is automatically spent in a line of hydrogen if possible, conserving the more valuable resource.<br><br><b>Metals</b> “contaminate” your hydrogen and helium by heavier elements. GiantStars||help||Giant Stars|Giant stars burn rapidly and produce a lot of space. At the end of their existence they collapse. These events can damage planets at nearby stars, but they produce metals.<br><br><b>Red giant:</b> a star that has consumed the majority of its fuel. You cant create these manually, they emerge themselves.<br><b>Yellow giant:</b> the most modest of giant stars. Produces a lot of metals, collapse is weak.<br><b>Blue giant:</b> a common giant star. DegenerateObjects||help||Degenerate Objects|Stars that have exhausted their fusion fuel. 106 GameplayBasics help Gameplay Basics You have access to a very large, but still limited <b>cache of energy</b> that is used to create the whole matter in the universe and the expanse of the universe's space itself. At the start of the game the vast majority of this energy is not in your direct control. But during the game you will take more and more energy from the cache. The less filled the cache is, the harder it is to obtain new energy. The energy shortage won’t become an urgent problem in the first billion years or so: the cache is really very large.<br><br>The matter is harvested from the energy cache in the form of <b>hydrogen</b> by clouds. Hydrogen may be spent to create new clouds and also to create stars. During their burning stars create <b>space</b> that can be used to place additional stars and clouds. 107 StarsAndStructures help Stars and Structures The heavier the star is, the faster it burns and the more space it produces. However, on the contrary, the most cost-efficient way of spending hydrogen to obtain new space, is investment into the smallest stars. Unfortunately they burn for a very long time and produce space very slowly. Also each star takes a unit of space, no matter which type the star is.<br><br>There is a reason to arrange stars and nebulae of the growing universe into galaxies and even larger <b>structures</b>.
